    Aamir Khan reveals superhero film with Lokesh Kanagaraj will go on the floors after Kaithi 2: 'Ye film agle saal banegi'

    Aamir Khan is currently busy promoting his much-awaited release ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’, and the actor has now shared details about his upcoming film with Tamil filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj.Team-Up with Lokesh Kanagaraj ConfirmedIn a recent interview with Just Too Filmy, Aamir revealed plans for his highly anticipated superhero film with Lokesh. While fans were eager to know when the project would begin, Aamir said, “Lokesh and I are doing a film together. Yeh film agle saal banegi. He is right now going to shoot Kaithi 2. So, next year, August–September, we will start.”

    Aamir’s old remark about the movieAamir had previously addressed this in a media interaction, revealing that the movie is a superhero film with a lot of action scenes.At the same time, Aamir’s ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’, directed by R. S. Prasanna, is all set to hit theatres on June 20. The film also features Genelia D’Souza in the lead role alongside Aamir. It is the official remake of the 2018 Spanish film Champions.Aamir had earlier said in a press meet that he was initially sceptical about going for an OTT release, and it was Amitabh Bachchan who gave him hope and support to opt for a theatrical release. He admitted that many of his friends in the industry had advised him not to risk releasing the film in theatres.Lokesh Kanagaraj’s work frontOn the work front, Lokesh Kanagaraj is gearing up for the release of his next movie Coolie, starring Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Upendra Rao, and more. He is also currently shooting ‘Kaithi 2’, starring Karthi.
