Aamir Khan opens up about Junaid Khan's journey in Bollywood; says he struggles with giving interviews
Aamir Khan shared his views on son Junaid’s Bollywood career after ‘Maharaj’ and ‘Loveyapa’. He praised Junaid’s talent and sincerity, while also noting his weaknesses: interview skills and dancing. Aamir believes Junaid’s resilience will lead to success. Junaid will next star in ‘Ek Din’. Aamir is also returning to the screen with ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’.

Aamir Khan’s children have stayed out of the spotlight for a long time. When his son, Junaid Khan, started acting in Bollywood with the movie ‘Maharaj’ in 2024, many fans were curious. Junaid did very well in his first film and impressed people. But his second movie, ‘Loveyapa’, with Khushi Kapoor, got mixed reactions—some liked it, while others didn’t. Now, Aamir Khan has shared his honest opinion about Junaid’s acting so far.Aamir’s Support and Praise for Junaid’s PerformancesIn a recent conversation with News 18, Aamir expressed strong support for his son Junaid’s acting abilities. He believes Junaid is a very talented actor and is proud of how well he has performed in both of his films so far. Aamir mentioned that while watching ‘Maharaj’, he felt like he was seeing the character Karsan come to life, appreciating the sincerity and innocence Junaid brought to the role. He also noted that in Junaid’s second film, where he played a mischievous character very different from his real personality, he managed to deliver a convincing performance. Looking ahead, Junaid is set to star in a romantic film called ‘Ek Din’ opposite Sai Pallavi.Honest Discussion on Junaid’s WeaknessesDuring the conversation, Aamir openly discussed some of Junaid’s weaknesses. He noted that Junaid struggles with giving interviews because his sincerity sometimes leads him to say the wrong things, which can cause misunderstandings. Aamir also pointed out that Junaid does not fit the mold of a typical Hindi film hero and admitted that he is not good at dancing.Confidence in Junaid’s Future and Aamir’s Upcoming ProjectsKhan believes that although Junaid hasn’t yet received the success he truly deserves, his determination and resilience make him a strong contender in the industry. Aamir has full faith in his son’s potential. As Junaid prepares for his upcoming projects, Aamir is also gearing up for his comeback to the big screen with ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’, starring opposite the talented Genelia Deshmukh, marking his first release since ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ in 2022.
