• Trial resumes: Dawn Richard, a former member of the musical group Danity Kane, is set to resume her testimony today in the Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal criminal trial. Richard testified last week that Combs threatened her to remain silent after an alleged attack on Cassie Ventura, the prosecution’s star witness.
• Ventura’s testimony: The pop singer, who dated Combs and is one of his accusers, testified for nearly 20 hours over four days last week. Ventura said she endured physical and sexual abuse during their relationship and detailed how Combs orchestrated drug-fueled sex performances he called “Freak Offs.”
• Federal charges: Combs has pleaded not guilty to charges that include racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution. If convicted on all counts, he could face up to life in prison.
