    Gov Walz Announces Boelter’s Arrest After NFL Star Slams ‘Chaos’ In Minnesota

    A massive manhunt ended Sunday night when Vance Boelter was captured hiding in a Minnesota field after allegedly carrying out a brutal double attack on state lawmakers. Boelter is accused of killing former House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband, and critically injuring Senator John Hoffman and his wife in two separate home shootings. Just hours before the arrest, former NFL star Jack Brewer publicly slammed Governor Tim Walz for allowing Minnesota to spiral into what he called “a capital of chaos.” Brewer, a former Vikings safety, blamed state leaders for the rise in violence, adding fuel to an already politically charged tragedy. Police say Boelter acted alone and exchanged gunfire with officers at one of the scenes. As Boelter faces multiple murder and attempted murder charges, Gov. Walz called the attacks “unthinkable,” but critics say this kind of violence has been building for years
